Skymatter Mudbox aquired by AutoDesk

By Tim Norton | Aug 2, 2007

Skymatter the Wellington based makers of 3D digital sculpting software Mudbox have just been aquired by NASDAQ listed Autodesk for an undisclosed sum. Read the article on Stuff. It’s taken the 3 managing founders Andrew Camenisch, Dave Cardwell and Tibor Madjar just 2 years to build the Skymatter/Mudbox business, a similar time to what it took Rod and the team to build aftermail and take it to sale to NASDAQ listed Quest in 2005. Impressive result, congratulations!
